Chenes Route. Portals to the Mayan underworld

Almost unknown Mayan temples, picturesque villages stopped in time and the impressive cave home of a Mayan princess enchanted by the power of ancient magic.

A trip to the heart of Campeche, a place where the soul of men and women of maize beats very strong and deep.

The region of the wells (che'e'en in mayan) is where the ancient Maya built portals to the underworld in each of their temples, eternal stone faces depicting the Lord of day and night: Itzamná, holder and guardian of the secrets of life and death.
